Schad’s semi boneless hams are trimmed of all visible fat. This local and national award winning ham has less than 3.5 grams of fat and less than 360 milligrams of sodium, the lowest available in the area.
Schad’s boneless hams are cured in a salt and brown sugar brine overnight. The cured hams are then smoked by hanging over burning hickory wood chips in a smokehouse.
Schad boneless hams are fully cooked and a whole ham will weigh between 12 and 16 pounds.
